Practice Nurse Vacancy – Charlestown- August 23
Smith Street Medical Centre has a part-time vacancy for a Practice Nurse (RN, EN or EEN). We’re looking for someone with experience working with the elderly as the position primarily involves aged care assessments.@ We’re a purpose-built, long-established, fully-computerised (MD3), mixed billing, accredited practice of 3 full-time and 7 part-time GPs. We’re fully supported by 5 part-time practice nurses. Our hours of operation are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to midday Saturday. Our practice team is committed to providing comprehensive professional care to all of our patients (mixture of all ages) in a caring and happy environment. We’re also a training practice for Medical Students and Registrars. Remuneration would be above award rate.

Belmont
Lake Macquarie Medical Centre has a part-time vacancy for a Practice Nurse (RN or EN). General Practice experience preferred but not mandatory. On-site training can be provided if necessary. We’re a mixed billing, accredited, fully-computerised practice (Best Practice) of 1 full-time and 3 part-time GPs and 1 Practice Nurse. We also have a visiting Dietician and Acupuncturist. A small inner city Newcastle Practice has a vacancy (start date as soon as possible) for an experienced Practice Nurse. This is a new position within the Practice. Eligible candidates will need to be familiar with the EPC scheme and have an interest in diabetes management.

Warners Bay
Warners Bay Medical Centre has a casual vacancy for a Practice Nurse (EN). It would initially be a one day per week placement and remuneration would be at the appropriate award rate. Previous training/ experience in Health Assessments would be advantageous but all necessary training can be provided.
We are an accredited, mixed billing, fully computerised (MD3) Practice staffed by 7 GPs (3 part-time) and 5 part-time nurses. Our hours are Monday-Thursday 8.00am-8.00pm, Friday 8.00am-6.00pm and Saturday 8.00am-11.00am.
